Vineyard Henderson Memory Care , located in Henderson, NV , is seeking a friendly, reliable, and service‑oriented Cook Aide to support our dining team and help provide an extraordinary dining experience for the residents in our community. Cook Aide:
Assist the Cook with preparation and service of quality meals for all residents, including those with special diet needs. Support daily kitchen operations, including basic food prep, portioning, plating, and ensuring meals meet presentation standards. Help maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assist with stocking, labeling, and rotating food items to ensure freshness and compliance. Provide support during special events for marketing, activities, and community celebrations. Follow proper food handling, safety, and infection control procedures. Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity at all times. Complete state‑required training upon hire and annually.
Required Experience:
Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in food service, dining, or kitchen support preferred. Experience in a senior living community is a plus. Basic computer skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
