Description:
Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Food and Beverage outlets and Member Events at DragonRidge CC. Manages venue Team Members and apply relevant service principles to ensure that the expectations of Members and property leadership are consistently met.Requirements:
Ensures the highest level of Guest Service is consistently being provided by all department Team Members as well as the highest standards of food quality, presentation, safety, and service. Greets Members and oversees actual service on a regular basis to ensure these standards. Supports servers, bartenders and food runners assisting in the operation where necessary dependent on business needs. Responds to Guests' queries and complaints and keeps the Director and Asst. Dir. of Food and Beverage informed on actions taken. Responds promptly and effectively with internal and external Guests; some of whom may require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Assists with staff recruitment, training, and motivation. Ensures the effective orientation and training of new staff, implements training programs for food service and professional development activities for experienced staff. Maintains pour costs, waste, and spillage percentages for all beverage outlets individually and collectively. Ensures that all standard operating procedures for revenue, cost control and waste are consistently utilized Provides coaching and counseling in an open communication environment, monitors performance and conducts necessary Team Member conversations, discipline and/or separation when appropriate. Ensures that all personnel documents (i.e. corrective action forms, attendance forms, evaluations, etc.) are accurate and up-to-date. Ensures that staff adhere to set standards, policies, and procedures including health and safety, sanitation, energy management, preventative maintenance, appearance, and side work responsibilities. Ensure that the department is in compliance with all Nevada Health Department requirements. Communicates with management, peers and subordinates in a professional, positive and consistent manner. Monitors and takes appropriate action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are attained. Responsible for month-end inventory procedures and accuracy as well periodic tableware inventories. Responsible for the proper accounting and reconciliation of Point- of- Sale systems and revenues. Monitors purchase and receiving procedures for products and supplies ensuring proper quantity, quality and price for all purchases. Helps plan external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities, and makes certain that staff understands and promotes specials being offered. Maintains appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.- Familiarity with inventory system and POS procedures (ClubEssential platform) preferred.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality OR an equivalent combination of education and 3 to 5 years' experience.
- Must have three years of supervisory experience in a hospitality operation with an emphasis on full service food and beverage department/outlet.
- Preferred complete ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
- Must have Nevada Food Handlers and TAM
- Must be computer literate. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Must possess demonstrated organizational, planning, time management, and leadership/team building skills.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills, possess a professional appearance and demeanor, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must possess and demonstrate a customer-service focus and attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle stressful situations in a fast-paced, often crowded noisy environment.
- Must be able to exercise judgment on an independent basis, problem solve, and make quick decisions based on established company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.
Physical Demands:
Must be physically able to perform all job requirements. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and more with assistance.Work Environment:
