Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to recipes and standards Cook dishes with precision, ensuring consistency, presentation, and flavor quality Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and fryers Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Support meal preparation for catering events or daily service, adhering to recipe guidelines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations Assist with inventory management, including food handling and storage procedures Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environment preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Strong knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient food prep Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish preparation Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced setting Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
