From batch cooking and baking to creating something special for a resident's favorite meal, you play a direct role in bringing comfort, joy, and dignity to the older adults we serve. At Brothers of Mercy, food is at the center of a good day…and as a cook, you help make those days brighter. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and understands that a thoughtfully prepared meal can make all the difference.

Basic Duties Include:

Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines Batch cooking for larger groups while maintaining quality and consistency Baking and preparing desserts, snacks, and specialty items Following therapeutic diets and portion control standards Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices Assisting with meal plating and presentation Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace Collaborating with dietary staff, nursing, and leadership to meet resident needs Supporting special events, holidays, and resident-centered dining experiences If you enjoy cooking with purpose and want to be part of a team that values both quality and compassion, this is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference every day.
