Duties/Responsibilities Set up and break down station with required prep and supplies Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes to spec during high-volume service Maintain clean and organized workstation throughout service Follow food safety guidelines, including proper temperature control and sanitation Restock items as needed, label and rotate product (FIFO) Operate kitchen equipment including griddles, flat tops, convection ovens, slicers, toasters, etc. Follow daily prep lists and complete tasks in order of priority Participate in daily cleaning procedures and deep cleaning as scheduled Qualifications At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience (breakfast/brunch preferred) Strong short-order and line cooking skills Familiarity with basic prep techniques and safe food handling practices Ability to manage multiple tickets and time dishes appropriately Experience using standard kitchen tools and equipment Able to lift 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work early morning shifts Current food handler's certification or willingness to obtain upon hire What We Offer Travel to and from the Island via Ferry fully covered as a part of total compensation package Weighted tip pooling included for ALL BOH staff A tight-knit community of like-minded individuals, passionate about food and community Optional opportunities for bonus pay in the form of extracurricular catering events, etc More detail about The West End, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/523047-The-West-End
