Long Island City, NY Job Details Part-time $19.50 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service workstation cleanliness Food service cleaning Accommodating special dietary needs Food safety Restaurant experience Full Job Description Must hold a Food Protection Certificate Reports directly to the Program Director and is responsible for the following: Prepare and cook meals for up to 40 older adults; Maintain clean kitchen in communal area, including daily mopping of floor, getting rid of garbage and weekly cleaning of refrigerator, oven, pantry, cabinets, and drawers; Maintain food inventory tracking form; Maintain updated knowledge of residents' dietary preferences and needs; Available for homemaker duties in temporary absence of aides; Relate in a friendly, congenial manner to residents.
