Kitchen Team Member / Food & Beverage Server Kids Ultimate Playground Kids Ultimate Playground is looking for a dependable and energetic Kitchen Team Member to prepare and serve food, coffee, beverages, and soft-serve ice cream in our busy family entertainment center. Responsibilities Prepare and serve pizza, chicken tenders, french fries, appetizers, and other menu items Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, and cold beverages Operate the soft-serve ice cream machine and serve cones, cups, sundaes, and other desserts Clean and sanitize the soft-serve machine and ice cream station according to company procedures Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional service Operate fryers, pizza ovens, grills, coffee machines, blenders, and other equipment safely Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Complete customer orders accurately and efficiently Check inventory and notify management when products or supplies are running low Receive deliveries and verify that items and quantities are correct Properly label, date, rotate, and store food and beverage products Follow the FIFO method by using older inventory before newer inventory Assist with regular inventory counts and help reduce food waste Restock food, soft-serve mix, coffee supplies, cups, cones, lids, and serving materials Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, serving counter, coffee station, and soft-serve area Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and equipment when needed Monitor food temperatures and follow all food-safety procedures Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning checklists Work cooperatively with cashiers, managers, and other team members Qualifications Previous restaurant, kitchen, café, ice cream shop, or customer-service experience is preferred, but training may be provided Experience operating and cleaning a soft-serve ice cream machine is a plus Friendly and comfortable serving customers and families Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Strong attention to cleanliness, inventory control, safety, and order accuracy Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Comfortable working around children, families, noise, and entertainment activities Available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays Food-handler or food-safety certification is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee training Flexible scheduling Opportunities for advancement A fun, energetic, and family-friendly workplace
