Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and knives Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring ingredient availability Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with health regulations Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or dietary departments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and food safety regulations Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and other departments Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real difference!
