Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including proper storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality and safety Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to operate various kitchen equipment confidently and responsibly Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members in a fast-paced setting Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized dietary needs Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
