Job Description

STAFF:
Campus Dining Part-Time Cook Description Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.
Qualifications:
Self-motivated, high energy, team-oriented individual Excellent communication and customer service skills; Must relate positively with students, parents, the public and other College personnel; Must be self-motivated and able to handle several tasks at the same time; Ability to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
Prepare dinner menu items according to established recipes, production schedules, and menu requirements. Pull and stage food products for upcoming meals, allowing adequate time for proper thawing and preparation. Assist with food preparation and cooking for campus catering events. Records and monitor cooler temperatures in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain clean and sanitary ovens, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas. Close down and secure all kitchen warmers, cooking equipment, and other equipment. Accurately record food production, usage, and waste. Sweep and mop kitchen and back-of-house floors at the end of each shift. Assist with receiving, unloading, and properly storing food and supply deliveries. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations. Assist with serving dinner on the serving line. Commitment to the mission of Eastern Oklahoma State College. Other duties as assigned.
