Theta Chi Fraternity in Corvallis is hiring a full-time House Cook for academic-term meal service at 361 NW 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97330. The job is cooking for the house's 40 live-in residents. Base meal service is 9 meals per week.

Meal service:

• Monday through

Thursday:

lunch and dinner

• Monday dinner: plated formal dinner

• Friday:

  lunch
• Finals week: adjusted portions and meal planning based on lower attendance and actual meal demand Before each academic term, the cook and the house review the menu, portion size, budget, and expected meal count.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve the 9 scheduled meals each week
• Plan and cook a plated formal Monday dinner
• Adjust finals-week portions to actual meal demand
• Review menu, portions, budget, and meal count before each term
• Complete normal kitchen cleanup after meal service Required qualifications:
• Experience cooking for groups of about 40
• Reliable attendance for the weekly meal schedule
• Ability to plan menus and portions within a set food budget Job details:
