Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation, including slicing, chopping, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production processes Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with special dietary needs or catering requests Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service Follow safety standards rigorously during food handling, cooking, and cleaning tasks to prevent accidents or contamination Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and assisting in proper storage practices Experience Prior experience working in dietary departments, food service, or restaurant environments is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal presentation Familiarity with catering operations or large-scale food service is a plus Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and other departments Proven ability to handle food safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Join us as a where your culinary talents will thrive!
