Job Description
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the food industry, catering, or restaurant setting
- Proven ability to cook a variety of dishes using different cooking techniques
- Knowledge of menu planning and recipe development
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
