This role supports culinary operations and dining services while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position pay range starts at $21 per hour. What You'll Do Prepare meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements Ensure food is safely stored, cooked, and served at proper temperatures Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment, including all equipment and prep areas Assist in training and mentoring culinary staff Monitor and respond to resident preferences and satisfaction Uphold safety and health standards, including food safety compliance Foster teamwork and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment Report any elder maltreatment or abuse as required Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Minimum one year of food service experience required; three years preferred Food Handler's Permit (as required by state) First Aid certification required Must be 18 years or older Compassion for and desire to work with older adults Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure Join Milestone Bring your passion for cooking and service to a team that values excellence, teamwork, and creating meaningful experiences for our residents.
