Description We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing high-quality ingredients, and helps ensure our kitchen operates efficiently. This position is essential to maintaining the consistency and quality our guests expect. This position is offered as a morning position. Hours would typically be 8AM-2PM. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen specifications
Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
Assist with preparing soups, sauces, dressings, and other menu components
Label, date, and properly store food items
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries
Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
Support line cooks and kitchen staff during service as needed
Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
Knowledge of basic knife skills and food preparation techniques
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
