Your skills in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety will ensure every dish meets our standards of excellence. We're looking for a motivated professional eager to contribute to a vibrant restaurant atmosphere and delight our guests with exceptional pizza creations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools. Manage food production processes from dough preparation to topping assembly and baking, adhering to recipe specifications. Maintain strict food safety standards by following sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and hygiene protocols. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials based on customer preferences and culinary trends. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing. Experience Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar culinary role within a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and catering preparations. Experience with food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production processes. Background in fine dining or large-scale food production is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency under pressure.
