In this role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the overall food production process. Your enthusiasm for food industry standards and culinary excellence will help ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant food service operation. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and portioning according to recipes and safety standards Assist in meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently Follow recipe instructions meticulously to maintain consistency and quality of dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients for upcoming meals or catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep activities and ensure smooth workflow Requirements Prior experience not needed, willing to train Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting. Serve Safe Certified, will train. Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential Join us today and be part of a team that celebrates culinary passion and professional growth!
