Key Responsibilities :

Food Preparation :

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items to order in a timely manner. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

Cooking :

Work stations assigned in a fast-paced kitchen, including grill, sauté, fry, Pantry and other specialized stations.

Quality Control :

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality for every dish that leaves the kitchen.

Stock Management :

Help maintain proper stock levels, organize ingredients, and manage inventory to ensure a seamless workflow.

Cleanliness & Safety :

Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following OSHA guidelines and food safety protocols.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and communication, ensuring dishes are prepared to meet member expectations and deadlines.

Maintenance :

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager to ensure kitchen equipment is always in good working condition.

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role (preferably in a high-end or private club setting). Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Culinary degree or formal cooking training is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and sometimes cramped kitchen environment.
