Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, including the creation of new pizza recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Requirements Proven experience in the culinary field, particularly in pizza preparation or fine dining settings. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Experience with menu planning and meal preparation. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Background in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not mandatory. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
