Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food preparation and kitchen excellence to life! In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, executing meal preparation with precision, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations. Your culinary expertise will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment that values teamwork and innovation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to quality standards Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment or restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks efficiently Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and properly Culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality RAMP and Servsafe required prior to hire (we can discuss at interview).
