Your expertise in food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations will contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and dish execution Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality and safety Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Culinary experience that includes recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about creating delicious dishes, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and are eager to grow your culinary career!
