Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in culinary arts, food preparation, and food safety, with the ability to contribute to menu planning and deliver exceptional dining experiences. This is a fast-paced environment, where teamwork is necessary. Night and weekend availability is a must. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu specifications Ability to assist in establishing new recipes as necessary Assist with menu planning to ensure variety for our members and guests Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling processes Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning Ensure proper knife skills are utilized for efficient and safe food prep Serve guests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience Collaborate with all staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures related to food handling and kitchen operations Good personal hygiene is a must, and failure to maintain is not tolerated Experience Experience working in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable Background in food industry roles such as catering, food service, or culinary positions is advantageous Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation is beneficial Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Skills in cooking, food preparation, and serving are essential
