This position includes food preparation, cooking orders, stocking supplies, and completing kitchen opening and closing duties. Responsibilities Prepare menu items accurately and consistently, following recipes and portion sizes. Cook orders promptly while maintaining food quality and presentation. Prep ingredients, portion sauces, and stock kitchen stations before and during service. Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, dating, and rotation procedures. Keep grills, fryers, equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas clean. Wash dishes, remove trash, clean floors, and complete assigned cleaning duties. Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low. Communicate with bartenders to keep orders organized and address special requests. Complete opening and closing checklists and safely shut down equipment. Assist with barback duties during slower kitchen periods as needed, including restocking beverages and supplies, replenishing ice, collecting and washing glassware, and helping keep the bar area clean. Qualifications Previous kitchen or short-order cooking experience preferred. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Able to stay organized and handle multiple orders during busy shifts. Willing to follow kitchen standards, take direction, and assist the bar team when needed. Available for evening and weekend shifts.
