Part-Time - 12pm-8pm About Us Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehab is a leading skilled nursing facility in Reading, PA, dedicated to providing high-quality care for our residents. We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team and play a vital role in preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and portion control guidelines. Coordinate food production to align with meal serving schedules. Memorize and execute menu items, including special diet orders and portion sizes. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting preferred. Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
