Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, specifications, and safety standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations Handle food with proper food safety management practices, including proper storage, handling, and labeling Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency in taste and presentation Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of safety standards in production and food handling procedures Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and meal preparation methods Experience with dietary department requirements and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and coordinate tasks efficiently Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and properly Knowledge of menu planning, food industry trends, and culinary best practices Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of food safety Catering experience is desirable for supporting special events or large-scale meal services Join us as a Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
