Full-Time Breakfast Cook Hilton Garden Inn State College is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Full-Time Breakfast Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in preparing quality food, and understands the importance of providing guests with an excellent start to their day. As our Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items to order while maintaining Hilton standards for quality, presentation, cleanliness, food safety, and guest service. Our breakfast operation is an important part of the overall guest experience, and we are looking for someone who can consistently deliver fresh, well-prepared meals with a positive attitude. Position Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes, portions, presentation standards, and guest requests. Prepare items such as eggs, omelets, breakfast meats, potatoes, pancakes, French toast, and other breakfast menu offerings. Operate the breakfast cook line efficiently during both moderate and high-volume business periods. Prepare necessary ingredients and complete daily prep work before and throughout breakfast service. Maintain proper temperatures and food-handling procedures at all times. Monitor food quality, freshness, portions, and presentation before items are served to guests. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation throughout the shift. Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products according to food-safety standards. Follow FIFO procedures and assist with minimizing food waste. Communicate effectively with breakfast servers, restaurant management, kitchen leadership, and other hotel departments. Assist with receiving and properly storing food deliveries when necessary. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and notify management when supplies or ingredients are running low. Clean cooking equipment, counters, work surfaces, refrigeration areas, and kitchen equipment throughout and at the end of each shift. Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation responsibilities. Follow all company, Hilton, health department, and food-safety requirements. Follow proper procedures regarding allergens, cross-contamination, sanitation, and safe food preparation. Accommodate reasonable guest requests and dietary needs whenever possible. Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment for both guests and fellow team members. Assist other areas of the kitchen when needed to support overall hotel operations. Perform additional duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Restaurant Manager. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience; breakfast cooking experience is strongly preferred. Be comfortable preparing eggs and made-to-order breakfast items. Be dependable and punctual, particularly because breakfast operations require early-morning availability. Be able to work efficiently while maintaining food quality during busy periods. Have strong attention to detail and organization. Understand basic food-safety and sanitation procedures. Have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Be able to communicate professionally with coworkers, management, and guests. Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Be able to work independently once properly trained. Be willing to learn Hilton and property-specific standards. Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position primarily focused on morning breakfast operations.

Physical Requirements Candidates should be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Work around ovens, grills, fryers, and other hot kitchen equipment. Safely lift, carry, push, or pull kitchen supplies and food products. Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks. Work comfortably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
