Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as an Early Morning Baker /Prep Cook where your energy and passion for food will help create a vibrant dining experience for our guests. Part/Full Time positions available, weekend availability is required . This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills, contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment, and support the overall food service operation. Whether you're preparing ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, or maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, your efforts will be vital in delivering high-quality meals with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and food safety protocols Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely meal preparation Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving as needed Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or cafeterias is preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques required Skills in knife handling, food preparation, cooking methods, and meal assembly are highly valued Experience with menu planning or working in a kitchen environment demonstrates strong culinary aptitude Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Prior restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
