The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking various menu items, and assisting with customer orders in a fast-paced environment. The Cook will play a vital part in delivering a positive dining experience for our customers. Duties Prepare food ingredients, including cutting vegetables and other prep work necessary for meal assembly Cook menu items such as pizzas, grinders, and other dishes according to established recipes and standards Make pizzas and grinders, ensuring proper presentation and quality Assist with taking customer orders via phone or through the Slice app, ensuring accuracy and timely service Grab and organize online or phone orders for efficient pickup or delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards Support team members in food assembly and kitchen operations as needed Requirements Prior experience in food preparation and cooking preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients and cooking dishes Good communication skills for taking orders and coordinating with team members Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation practices Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends Join our team if you are passionate about food, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are committed to providing excellent service!
