Wandering Bison Coffee is looking to bring on to our team a line/prep cook. Wandering Bison Coffee is in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota, in the heart of Hot Springs. We serve a diverse customer background with a seasonal tourist economy. We hold steady during off season and are open year around. Ideal Candidate is attentive, ambitious, engaged with attention to detail. Responsible for assisting in all culinary aspects of Wandering Bison Coffee. If it involves food, it involves you! Capable of producing a consistent product in high volume. Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas. Assist in the development and implementation of creative menu items. Creating and maintaining the overall moral of the kitchen and culinary team.

Required Qualifications:

Possess the necessary qualities of self- motivation, desire to learn, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, demanding, collaborative environment

Specialized Qualifications:

Excellent listening and communication skills. Exhibit cooking skills, knowledge, and food handling skills consistent with contemporary training and have the desire to learn more. Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.
