Job Description

Overview The Lead Line Cook helps oversee daily kitchen operations and supports the kitchen team during food preparation and service. This position prepares food, helps keep the kitchen organized, and makes sure food is prepared according to company standards. The Lead Line Cook also assists with training team members and helps the kitchen stay on track during service. This role will pay an hourly rate of $21.00.

401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until December 4, 2026. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to recipes and portion guidelines. Help lead the kitchen team during food preparation and service. Make sure food is prepared and served on time. Assist with training and supporting Line Cooks and other kitchen staff. Monitor food quality and communicate any concerns to management. Help with leading food prep, stocking, and inventory as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures. Check that kitchen equipment is being used and cleaned properly. Help with opening and closing kitchen duties. Communicate with managers and team members during service. Complete other kitchen duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of previous experience as a Line Cook or in a kitchen environment. Lead experience is preferred. Ability to prepare and cook food using recipes and instructions. Ability to lead and help guide and support other kitchen employees. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up heavy objects as needed. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days as needed. Food handler certification may be required based on local requirements.
