Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, safety standards, and dietary guidelines Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional value, and seasonal appropriateness Handle food with care, following strict food safety management practices to prevent contamination Use knife skills and slicing techniques efficiently for food preparation tasks Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to safety standards in production Serve meals with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests or residents Follow all food handling protocols and safety procedures during meal preparation and service Experience Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is highly preferred Background in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry demonstrating strong kitchen skills Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and food handling practices Familiarity with catering operations or serving in a hospitality setting is advantageous Demonstrated proficiency in culinary techniques such as knife skills and slicing methods Understanding of safety standards related to food industry operations and kitchen environments Join us to bring your culinary talents to life while supporting healthful eating experiences!
