And Much More! Position Summary As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to our Veteran residents. You'll prepare and serve meals that meet individual dietary needs while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. You may also assist with meal preparation for special events and resident activities. Essential Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.

Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served with exceptional quality and consistency.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards at all times.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Assist with meal preparation for special events and facility functions.

Properly store, label, and rotate food products.

Work collaboratively with the Dietary Services team to provide excellent service to residents.

Support a positive dining experience for our Veteran residents and guests. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.

Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.

At least one year of cooking experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or similar food service setting preferred.

Other relevant cooking experience or successful completion of a professional cook training program will also be considered.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
