In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, ensuring each plate meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and culinary excellence will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a fast-paced, fine dining environment where teamwork and passion are celebrated. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sauté station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illnesses Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs promptly Support catering events by preparing large quantities of sautéed items while maintaining quality control Experience Prior experience working in a culinary environment, preferably within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to sautéing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized dietary needs Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to foster collaboration among kitchen staff
