Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food and excellence to the heart of our kitchen! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and supporting the kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals efficiently. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will ensure every plate meets our standards of flavor, presentation, and hygiene. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant food service environment. Duties Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications Assist in meal preparation by following established cooking techniques and recipe adherence Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Support the culinary team in food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Follow safety protocols during food production to prevent contamination and accidents Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and timing for optimal service flow Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related food industry role Strong knife skills with slicing technique proficiency for efficient ingredient prep Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency in dishes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Understanding of food safety management principles and proper handling procedures Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 32.0 per week
