Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly while providing high-quality meal preparation and menu planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, preferably with experience in restaurant or fine dining settings, and a passion for promoting healthy eating habits. Duties Develop and manage menus that meet nutritional standards and dietary restrictions. Supervise the dietary department staff, ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Coordinate meal preparation and ensure the timely delivery of meals to residents or clients. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide appropriate meal options for individuals with specific dietary needs. Train and mentor kitchen staff on food service best practices and culinary techniques. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures within the dietary department. Skills Proven experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment, showcasing strong culinary skills.
