Pirate Academy is looking for a dependable, caring, organized cook to prepare nutritious and child-friendly meals and snacks for the children in our care. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, takes pride in providing healthy meals for children, and understands the importance of food safety and sanitation in a childcare environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and serve daily breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack Accommodate documented food allergies and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, appliances, and food prep areas Monitor food inventory and notify director when supplies need to be ordered Assist with meal planning and grocery orders as needed

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred, but not required Reliable, punctual, and dependable Comfortable working in a busy childcare environment Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements Pirate Academy is a fun, engaging, educational environment where children can learn, explore, grow and make wonderful memories!
