Major Responsibilities:
Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques. Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs. Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary. Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes. Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal. Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Previous office experience preferred. Previous Nursing Home experience preferred. Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.
