Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the childcare facility
• Prepare meals (breakfast and lunch) for the center
• Deliver/ pass out meals/snacks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and food storage areas
• Assist with meal preparation and food service for children
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff members
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Note:

This position may involve working in a kitchen or food service environment. While previous experience in the food industry or as a dietary aide is not required, it can be beneficial in understanding food handling procedures and ensuring the safety of children during meal preparation.
