We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Full-Time Cook / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This position works directly under our Executive Chef , assisting with the preparation and production of premium prepared meals, café offerings, sauces, lasagnas, and other prepared foods, as well as assisting with fresh pasta manufacturing and production . We are a food manufacturing facility , not just a traditional restaurant kitchen. Because we manufacture and distribute food products, we follow strict food-safety, sanitation, quality-control, and traceability standards . The ideal candidate understands the importance of following recipes, recording temperatures, labeling products correctly, and maintaining accurate production records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook sauces, prepared meals, café items, and other food products. Assist with fresh pasta production, including preparation and handling. Follow recipes and production procedures accurately to maintain consistent quality. Measure and record internal product temperatures as required. Properly label and date products and maintain accurate production and traceability records. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment as needed and keep the dishwashing area clean and organized. Safely operate commercial kitchen and food-production equipment. Follow FIFO and

procedures. Prevent cross-contamination by properly handling and separating products. Report any food-safety, quality, equipment, or product issues to the Executive Chef or manager. Work efficiently during high-volume production while maintaining quality and safety standards. Work as part of a team and assist with daily kitchen and production needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles. Experience following recipes and production procedures consistently. Knowledge of food-safety management, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices. Ability to operate commercial kitchen and food-production equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to work in a high-volume food manufacturing environment . Strong attention to detail, especially with labeling, temperatures, and production records. Reliable, organized, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. English and Spanish preferred.
