Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations. Support team members in food preparation, serving, and other duties as needed in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments with a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong culinary skills combined with excellent time management to handle busy service periods effectively. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing detailed product knowledge. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in fast-paced environments like quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
