Restaurant Cook Sapp Bros., Inc. Full Time Cook for the Night Shift. $16 - $18 an hour to start. Full benefits and PTO. We're looking for reliable and motivated Cooks to join our restaurant team at Sapp Bros., Inc. In this role, you'll play an important part in delivering a great dining experience by preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Overview:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items to company standards while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency. You'll help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, stays clean, and is always ready to serve our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to Sapp Bros. standards Maintain quick ticket times while ensuring food quality and accuracy Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers and other cooking equipment Prep, portion, and organize food before, during, and after service Monitor food temperatures and complete required food safety logs Stock, rotate, and maintain product levels in coolers, freezers, and hot/cold cases Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized, including dishwashing duties Support team members and assist with additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a full-service restaurant (preferred). Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. Strong references and a solid work ethic. Minimum of 18 years of age. A dependable, hardworking individual with a positive, friendly attitude. Someone who consistently maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
