Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal offerings that appeal to diverse tastes Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals for patients or clients with specific dietary requirements Contribute to food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and plating to ensure efficient meal service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold health regulations Serve food to guests or patients in a courteous manner while adhering to safety protocols Experience Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or catering environments is a plus Skilled in knife techniques, meal assembly, and food presentation to enhance customer satisfaction Kitchen experience involving food industry operations including catering or large-scale meal production is advantageous Familiarity with serving guests in restaurant or hospitality settings demonstrates excellent customer service skills Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a meaningful impact!
