restaurant foraged. at patowmack farm is a hyper-seasonal restaurant located in lovettsville, virginia, overlooking the potomac river. we are looking for motivated line cooks to join our kitchen team as we continue building this next chapter of foraged. our menu is built around what is growing on the farm, what we are foraging, preserving, and sourcing from local farmers, fishermen, and producers. the menu changes constantly, which means our cooks work hands-on with the best ingredients available in that moment. the farm is a major part of what we do. this position is for someone who wants to cook with the seasons, learn new techniques, and be part of a kitchen that is closely connected to the land around it. we are currently hiring full-time and part-time line cooks. pay starts at $20-$25 per hour based on experience, plus kitchen tip share, which generally adds around $6 per hour.
responsibilities:
set up and work assigned station during service prepare ingredients and execute dishes to restaurant standards work with seasonal, farm-grown, foraged, and locally sourced ingredients maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling communicate clearly with the chef and kitchen team follow prep lists, recipes, and daily direction help with preservation, butchery, baking, and farm-related projects when needed stay focused, positive, and professional during service requirements: previous kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person strong work ethic and willingness to learn ability to take direction and work well with a team reliable, responsible, and punctual comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen interest in seasonal food, local farms, foraging, and sustainability evening and weekend availability required if you have drive, ambition, and are willing to put in the work, restaurant foraged. at patowmack farm is a place where you can grow your skills and be part of a restaurant deeply connected to the farm, the season, and the region.
