Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Clover, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, wine pairings, and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during transactions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices required for maintaining health standards Knowledge of the food industry trends and excellent serving skills including upselling techniques Previous host/hostess experience or bartending background is advantageous but not mandatory Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are essential Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your passion for hospitality can shine!
