Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards in production Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and hygiene in all aspects of meal preparation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to recipe specifications and portion control guidelines during meal preparation Support catering events or special functions by assisting with large-scale food production when needed Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food safety management practices Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong understanding of safety standards in food production environments Experience with menu planning, food preparation, and meal assembly processes Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen setting Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
