Bolling Wilson Hotel is seeking a talented and reliable Hotel Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality dishes for our restaurant, room service, and banquet events. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities Prepare ingredients:
Chop vegetables, grind meats, and prepare sauces.
Cook menu items:
Deliver high-quality dishes according to hotel recipes.
Manage multiple stations:
Handle line cooking, prep work, and banquets.
Maintain safety standards:
Keep work areas clean and sanitize equipment.
Monitor food inventory:
Track food waste and restock workstations.
Support buffet setups:
Ensure hot and cold food stations remain filled.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Certification:
Valid Food Handler's card or ServSafe certification preferred.
Skills:
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability:
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Availability:
