Job Description
The Seasonal AM/PM Cook is responsible for the preparation and execution of high-quality breakfast/ lunch dishes for guests dining in the Main Lodge at the von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort. This position plays an important role in delivering a welcoming and memorable start to the guest experience through consistent food quality, efficient service, and adherence to the Lodge's culinary standards. The Cook works closely with the culinary leadership team to ensure timely preparation of breakfast/ lunch items, maintain kitchen organization, and support a smooth and efficient morning service. --- Key Responsibilities Culinary Preparation & Execution
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items including eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, pastries, and other morning offerings according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with consistency, proper portioning, and attention to presentation.
- Maintain efficient ticket times and support smooth kitchen operations during breakfast service.
- Assist with preparing items for breakfast buffets & lunch plated service depending on daily operations.
- Support prep work for future services when time allows. ---
- Sign-on bonus is available to new employees only or to former employees who have been separated from the company for six (6) months or more.
- Sign on Bonuses are paid in two installments at 21 days and 270 days of employment.
