Overview We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
