Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Pre-School Full-time cook, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture young minds in a dynamic learning environment. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment that maintains compliance to food and employee safety Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning atmosphere Monitor kitchen supplies and communicate developmental meal plan needs regularly Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure consistency and team support Support classroom management by encouraging good behavior and conflict resolution among children Organize kitchen items and resources to enhance efficiency and productivity Requirements Strong ability to develop and follow meal plans Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting Strong understanding of early childhood development principles Excellent meal preparation, portion control and communication skills to engage effectively work with leadership and team members Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to fostering a positive learning experience Certification in early childhood education is mandatory (We can work with you to complete the 30 STARS process), MERIT Portable background check and TB test are required before first day of employment Must be patient, energetic, organized, and committed to nurturing young learners Join us in making a meaningful impact on children's lives through energetic engagement and dedicated care!
