Hours of Work:

7a-3p with every other weekend rotation Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Assist in menu planning by contributing creative ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings. Handle food items safely, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary skills in diverse settings. Qualifications Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Cook or similar role. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes is a plus. Certification in culinary arts or related field is preferred but not required.
